Gabriel’s Anjelic Brilliance

Gabriel won Second Place winner White Juvenile Males, 2007 Great Western Alpaca Show in Colorado. This is one of the biggest alpaca shows in the country and he was in a huge class of animals. His fleece also took a sixth place as a male white juvenile in 2007 at the AFCNA Fleece show. In 2007 his micron count was 18.8 with a 99% comfort factor.

Gabriel is a very mellow and sweet boy. He is typically unassuming and will avoid a confrontation with other males if at all possible. He has been a bit of an escape artist ever since he was a baby and we think he is a fairly intelligent alpaca. He can be difficult to catch in an open area, but it seems more like a game to him than anything else since he is very easy to handle once you do lay hands on him. Once he is confined in a catch space you can walk right up and put arms around him easily and he won’t resist at all. He walks beautifully on a lead and will load and unload from almost any vehicle like a champ.

Gabriel has had two beautiful babies so far and we will be breeding him again spring 2012 to our dams.

Gabriel’s stud fee is $500 – $1,000 depending on travel arrangements and if he comes to you or the dam comes to us.
